Israeli forces arrested prominent Palestinian human rights defender Omar Barghouti, a co-founder of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, and his son, early this morning.
According to Israeli media, Barghouti and his 19-year-old son Mohammed, from the village of Kobar were arrested on suspicion of involvement in several terrorist incidents in recent months.
No justice no peace. That means not compromising with those who have stolen your land. How about one secular democratic state for all of Palestine and ersatz Israel with return of ethnically cleansed refugees? #Nakba Or is that too democratic for you?https://t.co/Pt4ZSn4UV5

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces broke into the home of the Barghouti family and vandalized all furniture before abducting Barghouti and his son Asem.
Another son, Saleh, was shot “point-blank” in an apparent “extrajudicial killing” by Israeli forces in January 2019.
